"I was living with my aunt, who was struggling financially. She was promised a large sum of money and a better life if she offered me up for a 'traditional ritual'. She was convinced that sacrificing me would bring her wealth and prosperity. But I didn't know any of this until the day she took me to the forest. I saw the men with knives. I was so scared. But then, the police saved me. They told me that my aunt was deceived, and that I was worth more than any amount of money. They referred me to Impactful Voices Initiative who showed me love and helped me heal. I'm now safe, in school, and learning skills. I'll never forget what IVI did for me.
